  • Your eye balls stay the same size from birth to death, while your nose and ears continue to grow.
  • Eyes heal quickly. With proper care, it only takes about 48 hours for the eye to repair a corneal scratch.
  • The human eye can distinguish about 10 million different colours.
  • 80% of our memories are determined by what we see.
  • You blink your eyes about 12 times every minute.
  • Some people are born with two differently coloured eyes. This condition is called as heterochromia.

  • Newborn baby’s don’t produce tears. They make crying sounds, but the tears don’t start flowing until they are about 4-13 weeks old.
